The TRX® Swell Plug was developed from 15 years of in-field service from TRX Holdings, LLC of Novi, Michigan. The TRX plug is unique in its two stage sealing capabilities and has been field tested for over 20 years as an in-field repair product offered under their service portfolio. The compressed action of the TRX Swell Plug® allows the end user to simply tighten the product using a socket wrench to shut off a basement leak instantly. The second stage of the TRX has a water-activated sleeve that swells with the presence of water causing a long-term permanent seal.

Keith Potts and Dean Teaster started on this concept in 1997 and have tested their invention for over 20 years with both private and commercial clients. They wanted to create something that would provide a better solution for their customers. After research and testing they invented the TRX® Swell Plug.
